Our Stainless Steel Decapping Die is strong, straight and easy to adjust. This die will decap cases from 22 caliber and up including long cases like the Ultramags, and 338 Lapua Mag. PPC and BR cases with .060 inch flash holes are accommodated by simply inserting the included undersized decap pin. An optional decap rod assembly is available for 17 and 20 caliber cases. The die is shipped with three headed decap pins for standard .080 inch flash holes, two pins for .060 inch flash holes and our new stainless steel Sinclair Lock Ring. Decap pins are standard Hornady headed pins.

WORKS GREAT FOR DECAPPING BEFORE CASE CLEANING,

Excellent quality and ease of use. Decaps standard cases and cases with smaller flash-holes(BR) without issue. I previously used a Lee universal decapping die, but it will be replaced with the Sinclair unit that is truly 'universal.' I highly recommend this item for those that decap prior to cleaning/sizing operations.

Awesome decapping tool (4.6.2013)

Over thousands of crimped Lake City brass, I have yet to break a single pin. What a great piece of gear! Used to use a competitor's brand but frequently broke pins and had them loosen in the holder shaft. They were also not in line with the center of the case, which probably led to the breakage. Not received as a gift. Recommended by a customer service rep at Sinclair International.

I've used this die for about 2yrs. on just about any case you can think of mil crimped or not, No Problem ! A small price to pay to save your sizing dies...If you reload alot of different cartridges handgun and rifle like I do,Buy One !!

Great Decapping Die (5.6.2016)

Bought this to use on Speer 357 sig w/small flash hole.

This solves that problem 100% . Has large pin also . By

far the best , most versatile unit on the market . Always happy with Sinclair products . Buy with confidence .

Not impressed (7.9.2016)

Bought this die to use specifically for the small firing pin. After swapping out pins and tightening down the nut it still wobbles 1/4" from side to side. Can take the small pin out and use the large and it works just fine. (yes I even tried pliers like the instructions say) Should have bought the Lee for half the price.

Dissappoimted (11.9.2016)

Small primer pin bad fit, I had to to grind down the pin end cap to hold small pin securely. Bad Qaulity control.

Universal decapping die (5.12.2016)

This is a quality product, as are most from Sinclair. I was tired of processing military brass the hard way, I load on a Dillon progressive loader and I have been taking taking each case out of the shell plate to swage the primer pocket after decapping. Now, I decap first with this die, swage the pocket, and drop into the case feeder on the Dillon. This die is universal so will work with nearly all cases.

Needed this more than I knew! (17.5.2017)

Now I can uniform flash holes and primer pockets for fired cases before they go in the sizing die. I ran 7-08 and 6.5 creedmoor cases through it with ease. A great addition to the tool box for anyone stepping up to precision reloading.
