Tarkkuudella säädettävä jig pitää poranterän oikeassa linjauksessa varmistaen takimmaisen hihnalenkin reiän oikean paikan. Sopii mihin tahansa kokoon ja itsekeskittyy automaattisesti täydelliseen reikien linjaukseen. Huopavuoraus estää viimeisteltyjen tukkien vaurioitumisen. Pakkaukseen sisältyy 5/32" halkaisijaltaan oleva hiiliteräksestä valmistettu poranterä, jossa on erityinen kärjen muotoilu, joka auttaa estämään puun halkeilua ja repeämistä porattaessa. Säädettävä poraussyvyyden ilmaisin estää liian syvälle poraamisen ja reiän pilalle menemisen. Käytettäväksi käsiporakoneen kanssa. Täydellinen suurille verstaalle tai aloittelijalle, joka on vasta aloittamassa.

I recommend this product: 488-000-006 KLEINENDORST SLING SWIVEL JIG
To date I have successfully drilled three stocks with it with very good results. The tool is very robust (built well) and capable. I opted to use a fine file however to put a few measurement nicks on the stop rod; e.g. 3" mark to offset the fixed jig block for visible assuredness to stand off repeatable from the butt plate each time with certainty. I did this putting the stop rod against a square then measured for this mark-purely optional. The set screw works as intended. More difficult, my 3rd task required drilling a stock for a military style two screw swivel plate. It worked fine performing the math for the second hole. I am very pleased over all. Read the instructions and start patiently to get the hang of it. I believe you will like it as I do.

Best Sling Swivel Jig (26.5.2013)

Kleinendorst has the best tool for accurately drilling sling swivel stud holes in the butt of a rifle or shotgun stock! The other designs are a lot of foolishness for mediocre results. I assigned 4 out of 5 in the rating system because of one issue that needs to be addressed with this jig. A normal 3/4" threaded sling swivel stud (suitable for wood or synthetic stocks) has a mostly threaded shank with a small portion that is not threaded and slightly larger in diameter. Kleinendorst supplies a drill that will handle both diameters in one step and works wonderfully! However, after that is done and you screw the sling swivel stud in the stock (with or without one of those little black or white plastic spacers) you notice that your very accurately placed hole is not counter-bored. The part of the sling swivel stud that you see when it is screwed in to the stock does not fit flush when you view the stock from the side! There needs to be a specialized Forstner-type bit with an appropriate diameter pin in the middle (centering in the wonderfully accurate hole already there) for counter-boring a tiny bit of stock material and thereby allowing the sling swivel stud to seat flush in the stock. Thanks for a great product!
