For any rails not in use there are blank covers to protect your hands from the sharp edges. Both the cheek piece and the non-slip rubber butt pad can be removed and the cheek piece is fully adjustable. You have to feel the comfort of the textured pistol grip to believe it. Three sling swivel studs are placed so that any type of sling, carry strap, or combat sling can be attached.
