Proprietary BevelBlock™ fitting block of extra material on the front ledge of the mainspring housing forms a seamless butt joint with the frame, deep into the frame’s magazine well. The BevelBlock now comes pre-machined with an angled rear bevel to make installation even simpler, while still allowing the gunsmith to shape to their own profile, if desired. Allows shooters to hit the sweet spot at the rear of the magwell during combat reloads. Machined to maximum dimensions to deliver a nice snug fit in most 1911 frames without excessive material removal. Perfect for carry applications to greatly increase the magwell opening with no extra bulk. Requires one simple machine cut for installation before final shaping. Available in flat and smooth, or custom quality checkered at 20, 25 or 30 lines per inch by master metalsmith Pete Single. Perfectly formed diamonds improve grip and control during rapid fire. Rounded heel increases shooting and carry comfort. Precision machined from tough, solid barstock for extreme durability.
