Brownells has paired the Daniel Defense Stripped M4A1 Upper Receiver with the ever-popular LAW Tactical Folding Stock Adapter! The Daniel Defense upper is finished in the Desert Dark Color they are known for and we have added the option of either a black or flat dark earth folding stock adapter. Daniel Defense manufactures the highest quality complete AR-15 upper receivers on the market today! Every Daniel Defense upper is painstakingly hand assembled, quality assurance tested, and test fired to ensure that the highest quality product makes it to the hands of customers. The upper receiver is mil-spec with indexing marks and M4 feed ramps. CNC Machined of 7075-T6 aluminum, type III hard coat anodized, color is black. The barrel is chrome-moly vanadium steel, cold hammer forged in a 1:7 twist, 10.3" government profile, chrome lined. The handguard is the Daniel Defense RIS II MK18 model. It is CNC machined of 6061-T6 aluminum, and type III hard coat anodized, Flat Dark Earth. The gas system is made up of the set screw Torx low-profile gas block CNC machined from 4140 hardened steel with mil-spec heavy phosphate coating. It also features a carbine length direct impingement gas system. These Upper Receiver Assemblies have been installed on a lower receiver & test fired. Law Tactical's steel adapter enables installation of a folding stock on any AR-15 to create a smaller-profile rifle for easy deployment from a vehicle or transport in non-permissive environments. Works with standard gas impingement OR gas piston system. Accepts A2, mil-spec M4-style, and commercial carbine receiver extension tube and almost any stock that fits them. Compatible with all standard bolt carrier groups, including full-auto and .308 size. Single-button operation for quick folding and unfolding and steel locking latch keeps stock securely in place when extended. Gen3-M has a lowered hinge to avoid interference when charging the weapon, and a setscrew keeps the adapter securely affixed to the receiver. Hinge tension is adjustable so you can choose how stiff the folding mechanism is. Includes special bolt carrier extension (no tools to install/remove). Current version utilizes standard buffer retaining pin and spring. Stock adapters feature a DLC coating, except for the Olive Drab Green which has a Cerakote finish. Will only work with compatible Centerfire and Mil-Spec carriers, or compatible AR 9mm Bolts. SPECS: Machined 4140 steel, DLC finish, matte black. Adds 1.3" (3.4cm) to length of pull. 8.5 oz.
