I have installed about 10 of these triggers over the years and had no problems.. They are on all of my

hunting guns in different configurations and different manufacturers including DPMS, PWA, Cav Arms and Stag Arms with no problems. I just attempted to install one in a Tactical Solutions .22 lower and it will not work without milling of the lower receiver. Great trigger highly recommended..

I have used 2 of these with 3-4 # pull, no creep, no movement with safety engaged. This is not a drop-in trigger as it requires fitting for the safety to function but the results were excellent.

Amazing improvement over the trigger my Sig 716 came with.

Very crisp with short reset but not very light with the included red spring which is to be used in the AR10 platform.

Took me about two hours (I had dinner while waiting for the loctite to set) to install it following the detailed instructions. You'll need a stone, high strength loctite, brake cleaner, a vise and a lot of patience as you'll have to remove and re-install the parts several times to make sure you do not remove too much material.

I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Bought this for long range shooting and couldn't be happier with the results.
Had no problems with installation or removing it and putting it in different lowers with the same great results.
Make sure to use the grease on the sear engagement surfaces and DO NOT FILE Them!

I got one of these years ago to put in my AR-15 for 'service rifle' matches so I was familiar with what it would take to install this trigger. It now comes with a nice video showing how to adjust it and how to adjust the factory hammer.

I was glad to find that function is 100% on both SV and HV .22 ammo. The trigger pull is a vast improvement over the factory trigger.

My kit did not contain Loctite even though the instructions said it was included. You will need a stone or some sort of accurate grinder to make the hammer adjustment.

This is by far the nicest feeling trigger I have ever used, but.... be prepared to do a little gunsmithing. If you dont have basic gunsmith skills and tools buy the JP EZ trigger kit that retails for around 269.00-289.00$, that kit is just like this one except for that you can just drop the EZ kit in without any gunsmithing. Other than that, 100% great buy

Installed in my AR Tactical build replacing DPMS 2 stage trigger.Prior trigger pull was about 8 lbs.After installing using yellow springs,actually ended up with just below a 3 lb trigger pull with no creep,clean break,very short over travel and fast reset.Took alot of hand fitting with hand files but well worth the time and effort.No failures to fire or locked up trigger problems.Very Happy with the results.Cut my group size's to half inch at 100 yards with a 16 inch 1-9 barrel.

Parts included with kit did not match the instructions provided with the kit.
Trigger part would not fit or function at all in my receiver, nor could hammer be made to disengage at all.
Proper adjustment, assuming parts did install to start with, requires multiple insertion and removal of parts into receiver, and hand-filing of engagement surfaces by repeated trials.

I have installed several of these triggers and they are excellent. I never cared for the two stage triggers, and this in my opinion is the best single stage trigger out there. I install them with the JP speed hammer and kns pins, and it is a winner. Breaks clean and smooth. You will love it, don't hesitate to purchase.

Used the two yellow springs, carefully followed the instructions and ended up with a lovely 4lb single stage trigger, and that was with using a std hammer.

Great trigger. Set it to the pull weight you and. Put in on LMT at 4 pounds and could not be happier.

I prefer single stage triggers over two stage triggers due to a lot of time on bolt guns. This setup makes your AR trigger feel more like a well adjusted Rem 700 trigger. I first tried it because at the time there weren't any other single stage options out there for the AR, and I've never looked back. Using the mil-spec hammer spring this trigger usually breaks right around the 4 lb mark. I've installed almost a dozen of these now, and installing it right and getting it tuned is probably about a 20-30 minute job. It will require some grinding on the back of the trigger for safety engagement, and occasionally require fitting the disconnector as well. Provides adjustment for sear engagement and over travel. Dropped to 4 stars for setup and tuning time, and it will require loctite (red) which is not provided. Great trigger overall, I use it on all my AR's.

Read the book, saw the movie. Saw the movie, read the book. This was installed in a R-25 308. I used the orginal hammer and hammer spring per instructions for reliable primer ignition. The original R-25 trigger pull average (10 reps.) was 4.85 lbs. The creep could have been measured in inches but my percepto meter was tainted by the unmeasureable length of time it took to consistently drop the hammer. What I really wanted out of this installation was minimising the creep. My expectation met reality. My trigger pull average after installation is 3.9 lbs. (10 reps.) I have a wolf extra power hammer spring in case my primers are not dented to delight. I have three other black rifles that now require a similar upgrade. The JP trigger design for the single stage release will make a better shooter out of everyone who uses it. I did not use my belt sander on the disconnector hook. I used a washita stone to square and polish about four-thousandths off the original dimension at the disconnectors hooked tip.

Good instructions & video mine fit very well did not have to time or fit disconector. I did have to do a little fitting on the saftey. With a little mechanical ability its not hard. just follow the directions and use the video for clarification.

I bought an R-25 and it had a notoriously bad trigger. I took my time and followed the directions. I used 600 sand paper and a flat surface to fit the disconnector. Worked like a charm. Trigger is AMAZING.

Took my time installing. I also used their low mass Speed Hammer in with the installation. Had no problems when following instructions. Video not that hot. Made all the fitments using an EZ Lap Diamond hone/stone. Parts are hardened throughout.
Resulted in a trigger with virtually no overtravel and a crisp smooth trigger let off/ disengagement.
Takes a little time to instal with some assembling, Checking fit and re assembling but well worth the effort. I am satisfied and will probably buy another one for another AR. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who takes pride in their AR-15.

I purchased this product and also the JP Ent. speed (low mass) hammer and I thouroughly enjoyed the installation process. I took my time and fitted everything by hand with an EZ Lap diamond hone (available from Brownell's). A file is pretty much useless since the parts are hardened throughout and a file will just glide right along the surfaces without much cutting action. I stayed away from using a grinder or belt sander because I've read other customer reviews and others have experienced ruining their parts by over doing it and I am pretty good at shaping things by hand and you can get a very precise and uniform finished surface if you go slow and carefully and continue to check and recheck fitment by assembling and disassembling and reassembling the trigger assembly. I honed the diconnector hook and removed about .0166" from the top of the safety engagement pad on the rear of the trigger. You can also purchase a JP Enterprises safety so you don't have to do any fitting for the selector lever/safety. It took me about 2 and a half hours but like I said I went slowly and very carefully. When I was finished I went from a very rough and long 6 1/2 pound pull to a very light, smooth and crisp pull measuring just a hair over 3 lbs. There is zero over travel and almost unoticeable trigger let off or sear disengagement. I plan on buying another one and installing on one of my otther AR's. I recommend this product to anyone who desires to dramatically improve their original trigger assy.

This has been a great trigger in my varmit gun. very reliable. If you are not educated o the working of an AR trigger it may take longer to install but there are very good instructions included.
