Keeps Small Steel Parts From Getting Lost

Magnetic surface keeps steel springs, screws and other small, easy-to-lose parts safely where you put them. Has just enough magnetic pull to capture the parts without magnetizing them, with raised sides to keep them corralled. Great when taking apart small assemblies, like trigger groups, to keep the parts from rolling off your work bench.

SPECS: Plastic tray with magnetic pad, black. Approximately 6" (15.2cm) long, 4" (10.2cm) wide, 3⁄8" (9.5mm) height.

Gotta have one (15.3.2010)

You have to have one of these when working with small parts that could disappear in the grass, carpet, or shop. The tray is great and feels really substantial. But it is a little small and the magnets are not stong at all. I do suggest you find some additional magnets from a hobby shop to add to the holding power. Don't lose anymore parts, get one of these.

Poor Magnetic Strength (11.11.2011)

This tray does not have a strong enough magnet to be worth buying. There are better magnetic parts trays/bowls out there.

More versatile than expected (22.9.2017)

These trays are more versatile than I expected. They are @ 4" X 6" and a height of @ 1/2" with a sloping edge. The magnet is the type that they make those magnetic business cards from. The tray is very useful for small screws, pins, and springs, but the magnet is not strong enough to hold everything if you knock the tray off the table. I'm getting additional trays for my pistol cleaning tool box and my home work bench for small electrical motors.

Had to buy more (25.9.2017)

Had to get more as the magnets must have stuck to the hands of son and his pals after the gun cleaning party. They are @ 4" X 6" and a height of @ 1/2" with a sloping edge.
